TENUTA SAN DOMENICO

The Tenuta San Domenico – Antica Dimora Capua Relais lies between the historic city of Capua and the village of St. Angelo in Formis. Immersed in a magnificent park, the main building used to house noble families during the Bourbon period; in the same lounges, today refurbished, the Bourbon and Garibaldi troops camped after the battle on the Volturno river. The halls for ceremonies are wide and bright: the Bourbon Hall has maintained its “goose neck” structure with the cornered fireplace while the Bacco Hall features tuff tanks to tread the grapes. In the garden there is a wonderful infinity pool. The seven suites are furnished with refined taste and art paintings and equipped with SAT TV, internet connection and Jacuzzi. The Restaurant “Il ritrovo dei Mille” proposes dishes of the Campania tradition with a modern touch, prepared with genuine and first-quality raw materials of the territory; the wine selection is particularly refined.
